Liquor OS · AI staff for liquor stores

Every call answered+ every yes is yours

Your store’s AI staff answers the phone, messages and reviews while you’re closed, and plans the month’s marketing. You decide how much each one does on its own.

How it works

While you were closed

Calls you miss, and every call after hours, ring your store’s AI line. Messages get an answer on the channel they came in on. Anything that needs a person waits for the morning.

9:00 PM closed A sample night at Oakline Wine & Spirits, Maple St 10:00 AM open
4 calls1 message1 hold
  1. Closed

The lights go off. Missed calls, and every call after hours, ring your AI line.

  2. Call

A caller asked if you open at 10 tomorrow. Answered: yes.

  3. Call and a hold

Marcus T. asked for Weller Special Reserve. Your staff will set one aside at opening, and he gets the call back he asked for.

  4. Call

A caller asked if you deliver. Answered from what you taught it: pickup only.

  5. Instagram message

@kaylaw asked for Weller 12. Told her the staff will check when you open, and she will hear back right there.

  6. Call

Hannah E. asked about Blanton’s. Told her it sells at the counter, one per customer.

  7. A text to you

“Oakline: 7 things need you today. Reply 1 to approve 2 posts and 1 reply.”

  8. Open

The counter phone gets the hold and the shelf check. One tap each.

Your staff

Nine staffers, each named for its job.

Each one has its own chat, and the Manager runs them all. Ask the Store Room anything, or open one staffer and ask there. They hand work to each other in the open, so you can see who did what.

  • Phone

Answers the calls your counter misses and every call after hours, and asks staff to check the shelf or set a bottle aside.

  • Messages

Answers store email, Facebook and Instagram DMs and comments, and website chat, on the channel the customer used.

  • Reviews

Replies to every Google and Facebook review, drafts Yelp replies for you to paste, and asks every customer for a review with a counter card.

  • Planner

Plans your marketing month from the liquor holiday calendar, your tastings, what just came in and what customers ask for.

  • Social

Makes the posts and puts them on Facebook, Instagram and Google once you approve. Bottle posts use your own photos.

  • Newsletter & email

Makes your weekly newsletter and any promo or event email, sized for the tool you already send from.

  • Texts & push

Makes texts and app pushes for your send tool. Every text fits one message and ends with “Reply STOP to opt out.”

  • Ads Managed plan

Runs Google ads in your own Google Ads account, for people 21 and over near your store.

  • Academy

Short lessons for you and your counter staff, from holds and shelf checks to fixing your Google profile.

The dial

You decide how much each one does on its own.

Every staffer has a dial with three stops. Turn one up when you trust it, and down again any time. Nothing posts or sends without your yes until you turn the dial up.

These ask you at every stop

  • Replies to 1, 2 and 3 star reviews
  • Any price or “in stock” you haven’t told your staff
  • Refunds, special orders and complaints
  • Any change to ad spend
  • Each month’s marketing plan
  • Setting a bottle aside, which your counter staff do
ReviewsReplies to every Google and Facebook review

Ask me first

Every draft waits for your yes. Nothing posts until you tap.

You approved my last 10 review replies without changes. Want me to post 4 and 5 star replies on my own and tell you after?

A staffer offers the next stop after 10 clean approvals in a row. One correction steps it back to Ask me first.

Dana, thank you for telling us, and I’m sorry you waited. Ten minutes is too long. I’m sharing this with our Harbor Rd team today, and I hope you’ll give us another chance. Sam, Oakline Wine & Spirits

Rules it knows

Written to your state’s liquor-advertising rules.

Before a post, email, text or reply reaches you, your staff check it against the rules for the state your store is in. Here is what that looks like in two states.

NY

New York

10% off Tito’s this weekend
Tito’s Handmade Vodka 1.75 L at your price
  • No “% off” and no former price in an ad or a sign. Your staff write the price itself, with the brand and the bottle size.
  • No mixers with a bottle. A bottle-and-mixers kit is out; a bottle with a glass or a corkscrew is fine.
  • “Sale” only when the price is below the lowest you charged for that bottle in the two months before.
TX

Texas

Buy one, get one on Prosecco
La Marca Prosecco, 2 for your price
  • No coupons on alcohol, from the store or a supplier.
  • Nothing free with a purchase. A two-bottle offer is a price for two.
  • No alcohol price on a sign that can be read from outside.
  • Package stores are closed on Sunday, so a weekend sale runs Friday and Saturday.

In every state

  • Google posts carry no bottles, prices or deals.
  • Facebook and Instagram are set to 21+ before anything posts.
  • Texts go out 9 AM to 8 PM, never on Sunday, with “Reply STOP to opt out.”
  • No bottle is promised until staff check, and no price is said that you didn’t give.
  • Every call, chat and DM says it is the store’s AI assistant.

Your staff follow each state’s rules as written. This is guidance for your store, and it is not legal advice.

Counter staff

Holds and shelf checks arrive by text.

The counter phone gets a text with a link. One tap answers, and the customer hears back where they asked.

  • No app and no sign-in. The link opens one card with two buttons.
  • The text never names the bottle. The card does.
  • Answers stick. Have it holds for the rest of the day and Don’t have it for 3 days, so the next caller gets an answer without asking staff again.
  • After hours, checks wait for opening. A check that comes in after hours goes to the counter at opening.

Questions

What owners ask first.

What needs my yes?

Anything a customer will see, until you turn that staffer’s dial up. Some things ask at every stop of the dial: replies to 1, 2 and 3 star reviews, any price or “in stock” you haven’t told your staff, refunds and special orders, changes to ad spend, and each month’s marketing plan.

Can I undo a yes?

Yes. Every yes shows Undo right after the tap. If a staffer gets something wrong, tap That’s wrong and say what is right. Your staff keep the correction, and that staffer goes back to Ask me first.

Does it know my state’s rules?

Yes. Your staff check every piece against the price and promotion rules for your store’s state before it reaches you. In New York that means no “% off” and no mixers with a bottle. In Texas it means no coupons and nothing free with a purchase. In states where the state sells spirits, your staff run your marketing for wine and beer.

What do my counter staff need?

A phone that gets texts. Holds and shelf checks arrive as a text with a link, and the link opens one card with two buttons. There is no app to install and nothing to sign in to.

How fast is setup?

About ten taps, counting the Google sign-in. Google goes first, so your staff can start answering reviews in minutes. Then you turn on phone answering with your carrier’s code, connect Facebook and Instagram, and pick the tool you send email and texts from.

Does it connect to my register or my customer list?

No to both. Your staff learn the store from what you and your staff tell them, your photos and what customers ask for. Your customer list stays in the tool you already send from, and Liquor OS makes each email and text ready for that tool.

Let your staff take tonight’s calls.

Sign up and connect Google, and your staff start on your reviews within minutes. Your first month is free.
